Micromax launches two new Windows Phones for the Indian market

At a press conference in New Delhi today, Micromax unveiled 2 Windows Phone devices for the Indian marketplace. Micromax is the offset Indian smartphone manufacturer to launch Windows Phone devices, although we know that Celkon, XOLO, and others are following soon.

The two devices Micromax launched today are the Canvas Win W121 and Sail Win W092. Both phones volition be in the market starting in July 2022. The Canvas Win W121 is priced at INR 9,500 ($160) while the Canvass Win W092 is priced at INR 6,500 ($110).

The Canvas Win W121 (pictured above) is a 5-inch device with a HD IPS display, an 8 megapixel rear camera (with LED wink), a 2 megapixel front-facing photographic camera, and 8GB of built in storage with upwards to 32GB of expandable memory. The two devices are priced nicely, and should hit the chord with Indian consumers.
